Stressful morning
Mommy and Daddy was petrified by Aydin non stop crying this morning. He must have woken up every hour crying for attention. We know he only cried like this if something is really wrong. The first time he woke up at 1 we really cant figure out whats wrong..after rocking and calming him down..he went back to sleep and woke up again crying. We soon found out that his body temperature was quite high and it doesnt help he spat out the panadol medicine twice. In the morning just about we were getting ready to go to Nenek Telanai AidilAdha function his tempreature rose to 40c. We panicked and rushed him to JPMC. They gave him a panadol up his butt and hours later he is back all chirpy and playful.
Alhamdulilah things went ok..and now he is sleeping.

Did i do that?
Yesterday cheeky Dalila broke her mommy new mac laptop. From the look of it the screen cracked from the inside and the screen is now only half functional. From what we heard from mommy dalila she only shook it a bit and the thing broke into pieces..good news is body is still good but just need some major replacement with the monitor...aiyaya!

The walking Aydin
Aydin took his first six steps this morning. It was funny as he was totally not ready for it but i forced him to stand on his own and walked to me anyway. He was walking while crying and complaining. It was all worth it...6 steps to independence! Well done baby..and good luck mommy and daddy!

Aydin first Miri trip
Travelling with Aydin is much harder than what we thought. Now that he is mobile, it was really challenging to keep him entertained in the car. He was crawling all over and at some time got really fed up and just mengusuting all the way. The funny thing is the minute that we parked our car he is so happy and jumped to the front to me for jalan.
We bought him lots of pyjamas and baju rumah which were so damn cheap in Miri. Stuff that would cost us B$20 in Brunei we can easily get it for Rm15 in Miri..so understandly mommy got a bit crazy buying his baju. The Yusbird told us that they must have spent RM400 on Dalila alone hehe.
One highlight must be in the new Miri Starbucks in which Aydin just got really hyper. Not sure if its the smell of caffeine or the fact he is out in the open in an airconditioned room, he was just in this super playful mood laughing and screaming the place down. Both Aydin and Dalila had their first taste of danish and blueberry muffin. Daddy also figured out a creative technique of changing his diapers in the car while he is standing without removing his pants,..see not just a pretty face hehe: ).
Daddy and Mommy also finally managed to get hold of buying a new fresh pair of shoes. We both needed one especially for me as the last time i bought my working shoes was when were in Australia duirng our honeymoon. My manky boots has been the subject of ridicule in the office in which it is labelled by my bosses as my worn out dancing shoes.
At the end of the day...we came back with lots of crumbs in the car...tons of Aydin pyjama.s.one farty daddy ffrom eating lots of KFC and a mighty painful back and shoulder rfom carrying him around..but its all worth it.!

Mommy Incoming
Aydin's incredibly active now and if possible would like to walk everywhere. In my arms, he makes sudden dives for the floor reaching his arms up as if to say, 'Time to walk, Mommy!' And he can be really fast, almost as if he is running. Its just a matter of time as he can now manage to walk holding on with just one hand to me sometimes. My determined little guy.
With more teeth coming through on his upper jaw, his diarrhea is still not abating. Babycentre.co.uk says its because he is swallowing the excess saliva from the teething and its making his tummy acidic. The extra saliva is basically coming out in his stool. Must be a lot of saliva, thats all I can say! Its been over a week. Luckily he seems fine, running around and playing with no signs of dehydration.
He's enjoying eating nasi and bits from Mommy and Daddy's plates now in addition to the usual bubur. Bits of ayam, fish, potato and sayur. He loves it but he hasnt quite learned that food has to be chewed before its swallowed so some of it gets vomited out. He also doesnt quite know how to stop when he's full sometimes. I just give him tiny bits and take my time giving him the next bite.
Sleeping problems are also part of the teething adventure making my nightly pumps very unpredictable. Some nights I didnt get a chance at all to pump with Aydin waking frequently throughout the night. Other nights I have to do it before 3am as after that he is a light sleeper, waking fully at any sound and thinking its play time. Yesterday he was up from 4.45 after sleeping at 10.30 with me. I did not manage a pump yesterday night. :S I hate it when that happens because it usualy means that I will be at least 5 ounces less than what he takes in during the day. It also makes my overall yeild per pump decrease somewhat. Less stimulation for my brain to maintain high production. So tonight I will be setting the alarm (on vibrate) to 2am. Lucky me hey?

Almost there
Aydin is now 9 months 3 weeks and really trying hard to walk. He is still not confident about taking his first step though we cant say that he didnt try. I am sure he will start walking next month and probably its time to invest on that steel cage to protect my decepticons and autobots collections...
Yesterday Mommy and Daddy went to a farewell function for Daddy`s big boss. Daddy managed to convince mommy to read a poem in a very shakespherical way.,not something mommy would normally do and she did deliver it really well! Congrats and well done mommy!
