Where's Mommy?

Its very quiet now, Aydin's just gone down for his first nap of the day. He really does love to play, even though he's rubbing his eyes and yawning he pushes himself to stay awake. Especially when he has another little friend to play with. He gets very excited when Dalila is around. They kinda wrestle in a bid to play with the same toy. They both have a tendency to want whatever it is the other is playing with. Even if they werent interested in it to begin with. Hehehe. Luckily its all very cute with no tears. Its good that they learn to share from a young age.

Aydin's been getting fussier with his food, I have to trawl my Annabel Karmel book and the internet for recipes. The latest hit was red pepper, zucchini and chicken sauteed in unsalted butter and then simmered in baby apple juice. After blending with rice this was a pink bubur which was very tasty. Hehe.

Going to try fish with sweet potato, peas and carrots as well this weekend. Sounds nice kan?

Its also very funny when Aydin sees the cats.. he likes to get close and step on them, doing his little shrieks of excitement. Fortunately, our cats are a good-natured, somewhat lazy bunch and they just submit to it or run away. Hehe.

Last night, Aydin did a few more steps without support. He's well on his way to walking. My strong boy :)
